Reaching Mezuzah

$60.00

The Torah teaches us to place “these teachings” on the doorposts of our house. “These teachings” have been interpreted by the Rabbis to mean the Shema and the V’ahavta. We beautify this custom by placing the prayer in a decorative case.

This design symbolizes reaching up towards God, here represented by the shin. It’s available in several different color schemes.

The piece is created with embroidery thread and tulle in a technique called free standing lace. It is mounted in a custom made, 3D printed, acrylic and polymer mezuzah case. The size is 6.25 x 1.5 x .8 in (160 x 39 x 12 mm). There is a pocket inside that can hold a parchment up to 4 in (100mm) high. Included are a paper scroll and instructions.
