Points of Interest uses flowing black embroidered lines to create a network of paths, intersections, enclosures, and open spaces. Brightly colored points punctuate the composition, each taking on a different relationship to the lines and inviting the eye to pause along the way.
This piece was created only with embroidery thread. It's mounted in a custom made shadow box with non-glare acrylic glazing. The size is 8 × 14 x 1.25 in (200 × 350 x 35 mm).
