Wrap Around Magen David Talit
The Magen David, Jewish Star, is the symbol of Judaism and Jewish identity. Kabbalah teaches that it has six points to represent the Heavens and Earth, and the four directions, North, South, East, and West. This talit is part of a new line made from softer flowing fabrics so they can be made larger to wrap around your shoulders, thus enveloping yourself in the talit. The Magen David Talit is made from organza, a semi sheer flowing polyester fabric. The thread is made from rayon. Each star is a solid color surrounded by a variegated matching thread. The size measures approximately 21 in x 68 in but can be modified if you prefer a different size. The tzitzit are tied according to the Sephardic tradition - 10/6/5/6 representing the letters that form God’s name: Yud, Hay, Vav, Hay.
