This tallit was designed for clergy who prefer a narrow fitted Atarah to use on the Bima. The symbols of the High Holy Days - two facing shofarot announce the new year, and is accompanied by a kiddish cup, pomegranate, and apples and honey. Each design, and the neck band, are beautifully embroidered in gold and silver metallic thread.
The fabric is 100% Kona Cotton. The thread is polyester.
The tzitzit are cotton and are tied according to the Sephardic tradition - 10/6/5/6 representing the letters that form God’s name: Yud, Hay, Vav, Hay.
The talit is 2.5 inches wide at the neck, and 5 inches wide along each bottom edge. The top, where the two sides meet, is angled to enable a good fit. Total length of the talit, including tzitzit, is approximately 80 inches long. The tallit fabric length measures approximately 69 inches long (not including the tzitzit).
