Vines Mezuzah

$95.00

The Torah teaches us to place “these teachings” on the doorposts of our house. “These teachings” have been interpreted by the Rabbis to mean the Shema and the V’ahavta. We beautify this custom by placing the prayer in a decorative case. This unique design incorporates an opening so the scroll can be viewed from the outside. The piece is created with just embroidery thread in a technique called free standing lace. It is mounted in a custom made, 3D printed, acrylic and polymer mezuzah case. The size is 6.1 x 2.1 x .8 in (155 x 55 x 21 mm). There is a pocket inside that can hold a parchment up to 4 in (100mm) high. Included are two mounting screws and a paper scroll.
